Kaena Point Adventures

We decided to go to the "untouched" side of the island to a place locals call Hidden Beach. The road ends at a certain point and so if you have a little Honda Civic, you're out of luck. But fortunately we do have two cruisers that love to go off-roading, so we loaded them up in our car and headed out for Kaena Point.

The view was spectacular. Quite a bit drier up here. We were planning on snorkeling and finding tons of amazing shells. We were pretty disappointed when we saw the surf and realized we'd be like meat getting tenderized if we tried to go out.

The coolest part of the trip was the wild tomato plant that I found.

Sitting at Haleiwa Bay eating our Shave Ice from Aoki's.

  1. No, I didn't shower that morning, (to anyone wondering) one of the benefits of living in Hawaii...showering is optional!
